Old woman being hit by a toy car

An elderly lady who was knocked over by a toy car, refused to get up and move out of its way until the driver 'paid compensation.'

The bizarre moment was captured on camera in the city Changde in China’s Hunan Province on March 13.

She sat on the floor on the sidewalk in front of the toddler who drove the red toy car, her parents, and some bystanders, reported Huanqiu.com, an affiliation of the People’s Daily Online.

t is not clear exactly what happened when the car hit as the person who was filming only captured the pensioner's tantrum moments after.

The unidentified woman allegedly said the vehicle was speeding without a licence on the sidewalk -  it seems she did not quite grasp the fact that it was a kid’s toy.

In the dispute on the street, the child’s mother can be heard shouting at the woman: ‘I was walking over here and you were walking over there.'

Citroen DS9

These are the first pictures of the new Citroen DS9 – a flagship luxury car concept that has been spotted completely undisguised ahead of its debut at the Beijing Motor Show next month.

Spied on a photoshoot at the Place de la Concorde in Paris, the DS9 is charged with spearheading a new DS range specifically for China.

It follows on from the DS3 supermini and DS4 and DS5 crossovers, which have been designed for Europe. The DS9 is a large, luxurious Mercedes S-Class-sized four-door coupe.

It’s inspired by the C6-based Metropolis concept car, which was unveiled at the Shanghai Motor Show in 2010.

Inside, expect a spacious seating arrangement – wealthy Chinese often have chauffeurs and place great importance on the amount of rear legroom.

There is no word on how the DS9 will be powered, but the Metropolis concept used a 2.0-litre petrol V6 mated to an electric motor, delivering 460bhp and CO2 emissions of 70g/km.

We can expect the DS9 to offer a similar low-emission, four-wheel-drive hybrid powertrain.

The car will be built as part of Citroen’s joint venture with the Changan Automotive Group in Guangdong Province, and sold exclusively in China. There are no plans to bring it to the UK.

Nissan Invitation

The Nissan Invitation has sporty lines influenced by the Juke crossover, and looks far more aggressive than the current Note. These images show deep bumpers and sharp lights, plus a panoramic glass roof.

Inside there are sharp creases in the door trims and on the steering wheel. The smooth, uncluttered centre console has a touchscreen display and circular climate control dials, while the gearlever is mounted on its own sculpted ‘island’.

The heavily bolstered sports seats are unlikely to make it to production. Instead the supermini-MPV is set to get flexible flat-folding seats similar to the current Note.

Expect the new Note to come with an engine range that’s similar to its predecessor’s – meaning 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre petrol engines, plus a 1.5-litre diesel.

There’s also speculation that it will make use of the 97bhp 1.2-litre supercharged three-cylinder DIG-S petrol engine from the Micra. This includes stop-start technology and emits 99g/km in the Micra, which is a similar emissions target that Nissan is aiming for with the Note.
